Flows: Linking to third-party systems and individual processes

The flows in GroupAlarm map your own processes and easily integrate third-party systems.

Use the full flexibility of the flows with drag & drop

The flows in GroupAlarm allow you to define your own processes and workflows flexibly and adaptably at any time and thus map your own processes in the software. Maybe you are missing a function in GroupAlarm or you want a different flow - define your own processes easily and quickly.

The connection of third-party systems creates real end-to-end solutions by intelligently linking the individual actors. Connect any software that sends emails, can call up a URL with parameters or monitor IMAP mailboxes for incoming emails.

Map your own processes flexibly

Select from a library of predefined measures the ones that are suitable for you and create your individual processes in just a few steps. If no module is available for a measure, you can create your own interface calls with a few simple steps, e.g. via the HTTP client. This way you can send any data from GroupAlarm to other providers to control processes there.

Linking to third-party systems

Trigger a flow as the basis for an alert via an HTTP call or via e-mail (incoming mail/IMAP mailbox monitoring). Completely independent of how the mail is structured or how the parameters are passed in a web call: With the flows, you simply read out corresponding variables and, on the basis of these values, create e.g. an alert of the required forces or a message to any room of the messenger.

Input evaluation

Through comparisons, you can react to certain values of your inputs and trigger targeted alarms. For example, if you couple a sensor that regularly transmits its status, the flow will only react if it is a critical event. Use parsers for text, JSON or XML to evaluate incoming data and prepare it flexibly as alarm text.

Full control with Insights

In the flow insights, you can see every step of an executed flow in detail. This makes it easy to check your configurations and to identify and adjust changed input parameters. Each time a flow is executed, all the data is saved and you can view it in various degrees of detail.

Flow inheritance

If you create nested organisations in GroupAlarm (e.g. individual departments, fire brigades, …) you can also inherit individual flows to all subordinate organisations. This way you ensure process conformity on all levels. Of course, you can choose whether a sub-organisation can make changes to the flow and have an insight into the insights at all levels at any time.
