From now on, you have the option of defining up to ten different severities / types for events and alarms in the organisational settings. Each severity consists of a name, a descriptive icon and a colour. This ensures that you have the necessary flexibility and can immediately see the criticality when it is used. In addition to the typical levels of severity such as ‘information’ - ‘warning’ - ‘critical’ - ‘very critical’, you can also define specific categories for events, such as ‘fire’, ‘emergency assistance’ or ‘technical assistance’. Combinations are also possible, for example, if you further define the keyword ‘fire’ from an initial fire to a major one. As soon as the severities have been defined, they are available for creating alarms on the web, in the alarm templates and in the flow for all alarm and event functions. In addition, the severities can be set via the REST API. On the web, the defined severities are displayed for all events and alarms and in the PDF reports. In the apps, participants can customise the notification settings for each organisation and severity level, for example by selecting different alarm tones. This way, simple warnings and critical notifications, small fires or major emergencies can be signalled differently directly when the alarm is raised. The severity levels are available to all organisations at no additional cost.
